On land once owned by Bob’s great-grandfather on the island of South Hero in Lake Champlain, Ann and Bob Buermann, along with their daughters Laura and Molly, began Paradise Bay Farm in the fall of 1991 with four sheep. By April we had doubled the flock to eight. Over the years that followed the flock grew to almost one hundred sheep and today we are at the reasonable number of twenty five.

Through custom breeding of Romney, Border Leiscester, and Blue Face Border Leiscester Ann has developed fine soft wool desired by hand spinners and knitters through out the Northeast US.

We sell wool, hand spinning fleeces and roving, hand spun yarn, and hand woven and knit items.
